Kraemer Mining & Materials, Inc. has been leading the construction industry as a diverse general contractor and construction aggregate supplier for over a century. Started in Plain, Wisconsin in 1911, Kraemer was a division of Edward Kraemer & Sons, until June 17, 2006 when it became a stand alone company under the same family ownership.

The Burnsville Quarry was opened in 1959 to provide material for the I-35W project and has grown into a leading supplier of aggregates to the Twin Cities metro area. The quarry employs 47 people and produces between 2.5 and 2.8 million tons of high quality dolomitic limestone products a year.

Material from the quarry has been used in projects around the metro area such as the Mall of America, MSP International Airport projects, Lakeville South High School and many freeways in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area.
